Wild Events
Elevated design for a Long Island-based private chef and catering brand.
Project Overview
Wild Events is a North Fork-based catering business run by private chef Ryan Carroll, offering curated dining experiences that blend the warmth of local catering with the sophistication of private chef service.
I’ve worked with Ryan to create social media graphics, event materials, and branding assets that reflect the brand’s core values: approachability, elegance, and personal connection.
Design Focus
My design work is rooted in translating Wild Events' ethos, local, elevated, and personal, into its visual identity. From intimate place settings to bold promotional content, every piece is designed to feel cohesive and considered.
Social Media Content
For both the original and rebranded versions of the business, I’ve developed social media marketing assets that reflect the seasonal, intimate, and elevated tone of the brand. These include:
• Instagram posts and stories
• Promotional graphics for events and holiday bookings
• Visuals highlighting dishes, pop-ups, and charitable collaborations
The designs are clean, textured, and tailored to the brand’s evolving tone, shifting from rustic charm to refined minimalism post-rebrand.

Pre-Rebrand: Carroll's Catering
Before launching Wild Events, Ryan operated as Carroll’s Catering. This is where our collaboration began.
Menu Design
Each private party could choose from curated menu options (brunch, dinner, cocktail hour, etc.). I created the base menu templates, which were both functional and brand-forward, serving as the foundation for custom event materials.

Personalized Menus
Once a client selected their dishes, I designed customized printed menus for each event. These were:
• Printed for each place setting at plated dinners
• Enlarged for buffet-style service at larger gatherings
• Designed to complement each event’s theme or color palette

Event Signage and Charitable Promotions
In addition to menus, I designed:
• Signage for pop-up dinners and tasting events
• Graphics for Carroll’s Kitchen Long Island, a nonprofit effort run in tandem with the catering business
• Promotional content for bookings, campaigns, and seasonal menus
Every touchpoint was designed to feel tailored and intentional, helping elevate the overall event experience and support the brand’s growing identity.

Reflection
My work with Wild Events has allowed me to build across both print and digital mediums for a growing business with a strong personality. I especially enjoyed balancing visual elegance with functionality, ensuring every piece, from an Instagram story to a guest menu, reflected the same brand values.
